How much do the Cheerios go for these days. Last time I checked ebay, I saw one sell for over $2,300.00.

A coin is worth whatever someone is willing to pay to acquire it. One must keep in mind that eventually you may wish to sell that coin and it is THEN and only THEN you will realize what that coin is really worth. Save yourself the misery and avoid ALL hyped coins as that which is hyped today will be a mere speck of memory in 20 years. Do you want to rely on the old saying "A fool and his money are soon parted" when trying to sell your coins down the road? A couple of thousand dollars will buy a great number of solid, investment quality classic coins that will ALWAYS be in demand. Where would you rather gamble your hard earned money? It is that simple!

$2300.00!!

That's mind boggling.

Until I saw that post I was considering buying one. Guess it will have to wait until I win the lottery, and since I no longer buy lottery tickets, I guess it won't happen anytime soon.

$2300.is lower than any of the half dozen I've watched sell on ebay. They all sold for between $3500 & $4500.
