Awesome!
My favorite is the Lincoln Type Set; simple and to the main point...Lincoln!
Got to make me one of those.

Very nice indeed ... Curious, is this a hobby, or your trade? EDIT => sorry, I should always read to the end, before I ask a question! (hobby => wow, nice hobby!) Ummmm, if you do eventually get visitors to your bedroom, make sure that you skin-search them before they leave in the morning!? => I'm just sayin'

I love that the type set is hinged! What a great great idea. Are all of the displays on the walls hinged or just that one? Gorgeous job. Absolutely stunning. Your house looks like a museum!

The only one hinged so you can see the back is the 20th century type set. And thanks for the compliments!

Very nice work.
I believe it would be rather SUPER COOL to find an antique "coin cabinet" that I have read about.

Wow, beautiful. I am planning on building coin trays for my collection and while I am not quite as skilled a wood worker as you are I am decent. I have a question as I plan on using birch plywood for most of the construction and probably laminating a hardwood venier and using a thick lacquer coating. I am going to keep the coins in air tights. Do you think the lacquer will seal the wood enough to keep everything stable so I don't ruin my coins?
I have a rather large cabinet that I am retro fitting the trays into as it is part of my furniture set and is no longer being used to hold anything in. I am just planning on making each tray of two sandwiched pieces of ply with the top holed out for the individual coins to fit in so I can take maximum advantage of the available space. Any thoughts?

I'm liking that frame of the 100 Trillion Dollars. I may have to do this myself! It's a great conversation piece in itself.

Absolutely beautiful. I wish I had something like that to display my coins - or that many nice coins to display.

Oh my! I am so jealous right now of your displays and your coins! Absolutely gorgeous! A very organized set up and very impressive. You did great on the "show case" pieces. I am in awe. You have a wonderful talent. The coins and the "wood work" will be around long after we are all gone. That is such a great thing to leave behind. They will be greatly appreciated to whom ever gets them.

I am going to go find a corner, curl up and cry throughout the (long) weekend. ...or I could get some ideas from your storage methods! I like the woodwork! Very nice collection you have...it's no wonder I can't the nice coins anymore.

Very impressive displays and woodwork! Where did you get the boards for your sets and type set?
