They came up "clean" erkle But I wouldn't do this to any coin that I wanted to keep.

not wrong there, but I am wondering if 2 hours might of been the time to pull them out. next bunch of green ones I will find out, going to keep doing the halfs in short dips see what happens. as for getting a shine to silver its brilliant lol

The roos, especially, are exactly why people are told not to clean coins. That orange color can be seen across the room as a cleaned coin, and there's no good way to get the brown back.

i am going to keep doing the half pennies, but for shorter times, soak for an hour or 2 then into water.
