I never heard of a challenge coin when I was active or during my reserve years, I first started hearing about them just a few years ago. I picked this one up on ebay a couple of months ago, I also picked up the Korea Defense Service challenge coin, will have to get a pic of that.  |

so I have this challenge coun that was given to me by a navy veteran who got this while he was learning how to operate the aegis system. he got it directly from rear admiral wayne e meyer AKA the farher of agis . however I dont really know where this coun ranks or how rare it is . its from 1991 and I cant find another photo of one anywhere so I was hoping someone could help . thanks   |
