Well, getting back on topic, if the USMint was anything like our friends at the RCM, you bet there would have been a Memphis Belle commemorative, and 452 others commemorating the events and personages of WWII. There probably should be Congressional gold medal made, instead of a general commemorative coin. Thank goodness for only TWO programs a year and not more.

I have and I thought it was great! That's why I voted yes. But I see why people would vote no. There are a lot of issues out there worthy of a commemorative. I like the idea of an Air Force commemorative. They've done a Marine corps and an Army. I don't think there is one for the Navy but there should be as well. Putting out too many commens would seem to degrade the program
