f16-

Normally, I would send this in a PM, but your email is not listed.

This is the second thread I've seen where you have taken serious offense at comments. As a disinterested third party, I see friendly discussion and suggestions.

You have to remember, even best friends will disagree. It's even easier when you're on the other side of a computer.

Take comments as lively discussion, and not personal attacks. A thick shell is part of dealing with others on blogs and groups.

I voted "2x2" but, like most people with large collections, the true answer for me is, "it's complicated".

Most of my main collection is in 2x2s, which then go into photographic slide album pages and those in turn into archival binders. Similar to svslav's system, except I write the info on the slabs rather than on backing sheets.

Ancient coins, worn coins and others which either don't fit into a 2x2 or would look unappealing sealed up in a 2x2, get put into coin flips instead, which go into the 2x2-sized album pages.

My secondary collection - mostly comprising date-sets of US, Canadian and other foreign coins, as well as my Australian coins, go into standard plastic coin album pages.

Mint sets and other coins in "official wrappers" tend to get kept in the wrappers and tossed into a big bag. I'm too lazy to try to work out a more elegant storage system for them.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

f16, posting an email address to a public forum can be a problem. You should enable your forum PMs instead.

If you want to start over with a new poll, you could do that and ask the moderators to lock or remove this thread.
