I called the 1800# and I was done and ordered in about two minutes. Kinda low tech but it worked like a charm.

Thank you very much for your information. I called the mint once but they had to put me in waiting list.

Only in Canada :P
Dang... Being American has it's ups and downs!

Royal Canadian Mint - Very Very nice of you guys to be giving out free collector cards. The US mint would never ever give anything away free! This is also a good way to get many people interested in coin collecting in general. I have a lot of respect for you guys now!

PS: I went down to my local coin shop to trade some silver in and I saw that they had some loonies and toonies. They were WAY over priced (shipping from Canada I guess) but I was very happy to see that they have already sprouted into the USA (I'm in Texas... So we are VERY south of you guys. It's came all the way down here!) I will be looking forward to getting a few of these coins in the future as a cool thing to have!

Cooleeeoo! Thanks RCM! I am actively collecting all of the business strikes for this series, and am only waiting to get the final release of the Peregrine Falcon. This will be a great way to display a set.

@ RoyalCanadianMint rep, I have a question for you. Does the collector card hold the coins in their original mint packages? You know, the 5-pack/6-pack plastics?

Does the collector card instead just hold one of each coin therefore forcing you to opening the plastic packages?

Please see the attached photo to see an example of what I mean by the mint's original plastic package.

Oh and welcome back to the forum. We haven't heard much from you since October.

Thanks!

Just an FYI - the following message has appeared on the RCMs website:

Notice :
Due to high demand, we expect delays in the shipment of your collector card until mid-March to mid-April.

I guess if you want one of these collector cards sooner, you'll need to attend the coin exchanges at the Mint next week.
