Here's the edge, not the best photo sorry, struggling a bit with the optimizer. The edge is predominantly smooth apart from two opposite parts. The milling runs away to nothing. Some of the milled edge can be seen on the Queens side of the coin on the LHS, this is more obvious when holding the coin at an angle, it is not on the edge though it is where it should be.
Typing in a hurry, hope this makes sense?
Cheers Curley

From the rim it looks to be a tilted partial collar Curleys, excellent find indeed.

That, my friend, is a partial collar error. Much better find than just an offset. Sounds like a tilted.

Great find!!

Here's a more recent entry about partial collars. Yours looks like it might be a straight partial collar.

Thanks for the helpful feedback and links. It appears to be a partial tilted collar.
I haven't had a good look around this forum yet but it looks like there is a lot of information to digest here
I have lots more to post, but finding time is difficult.
Thanks again
Curley

I was handed this in my change at woolworths the other day.
It did not go in with my other change when I saw how nice it looked. Pretty good for 36years in circulation

Pays to keep your eyes open. Does seem to be quite a few good early 20¢ and 50¢ floating around lately. General opinion is that people have been cashing in their hoards.

I agree Jeff, I've seen an increase in good quality older coins as well. People are cracking open the jars or realising that all the commemoratives they have hoarded are only worth face value.

A couple of keepers from this weeks takings. 3rd solid number I've found, the others are both $50 notes and are both solid 6's() which I've heard are the least desirable.
The bottom note seems to have a slight inking issue which caught my eye. Thought it worth keeping......any ideas of how this happened? I usually only have eyes for $50 notes so two 20's in a week is unusual for me.
Cheers
Curley
