You know, it's great to see members like DV, and all the other milestone members giving coins away to newer collectors. I'll wait until I hit 3000 posts which, really shouldn't be that far away to have a contest.

Well thanks, DVC ... man, I think it's awesome that you are giving away these coins ... uummm, but the fact that I can't find any info on this wonderful dog-coin is totally frustrating me! ... but I would be honored to accept this coin so that I could at least try and figure-out the mystery! => thanks, no really, thanks! (I'll pay ya back, somehow) anyway => so, I've looked-up 50 ore norge ... swedish ... norway ... 1960 through 196? ... and "arrrrggghhh", I can't find a photo of a shaggy northern probably an Ikeda or maybe a Samoid? ... I get nuthin'! => please send me that coin (like I said => please send me the bill ... or I'll pay you back somehow!) ; ) that "dog" is now in my head, big-time (I want that dog!) WOFF! thanks/cheers

Ahhhh, really?! ... man, quit following me! Yah, I did find a bit of contradicting info => first, I found info stating Norway Elkhound Spitz Dog (1960-1963) ... but then I also found some more contradicting info regarding "Swedish 50 ore coin" => but neither site had any "photo-info" showing me anything about the wonderful dog-coin ... ... so then I became sad/mad and agreed that I wanted the coin for "personal reasons" ... hahaha ... I wil figure it out! anyway => Coins rock! thank you very much DVC ... well played

Steve, all you had to do was type Norge 50 ore or Norway 50 ore in Google Images and it's one of the first coins to come up. -_-

Apollo, I know we're having fun here, but could we keep the OT posts to a minimum? I have to read everything so I don't miss a coin request.
