Beside coins, I have a big collection of 78rpm records and some gramophones. But because of physical problems I had to stop with this collection, because these records are to heavy. (50 records is about 13kg). So the complete collection is for sale for the moment. I know I will not the the value I payed for it all. But perhaps someone else can enjoy the lot. https://www.marktplaats.nl/wijzigAd...8908396.html

I collect anything old. I just love old stuff. For a while I used to be a scale collector. But I have not bought one in a long time. Still have them around the house though and a couple outside (700 lb cotton bale scales).
Someone once said, "if I don't have it, I have part of it". I read through all the posts with pictures on this thread, and even though I am not a collector, I could add to to a lot of collections that I saw. Lets see, knives, guns, kerosene lamps, military patches (they were missing USACC), stamps, watches, old cars, car brocures, NASCAR, comics, bottles, insulators, fishing poles, and I am going to stop here.

Quote: I collect old computers. I don't collect them intentionally (like Andrew99) but do I have an IBM PCjr (which in turn is collecting dust in my garage). And my main PC is starting to get long in the tooth as well. If jbuck's drummer were an offical CCF emoticon, it should be "[rimshot]"

Many fantastic and beautiful items shown here. I too love to collect things and way to many. With collections of coins, cars, knives, swords, guns and many other things, and getting old, my latest hobby, aside from coins, it getting rid of STUFF. I've tried to get rid of one item a day for years now. The reason is what will happen to it all after I'm gone. A neighbor of mine collected model planes. His house and garage were full of them and many still in original boxes waiting to be assembled. He passed away one day. His family came over and hired a company to clean out the place. They paid that company to do it and they just drove up and loaded two trucks with his stuff. That made me think. Time to start getting rid of stuff myself.

I don't really actively collect them, but I do have quite a collection of carousel horses. I have always loved them.
