That was painful. I was fairly certain this was a PCGS MS64, but thought the 2 marks on the cheek might have limited it's sale price. With that in mind I waited to put my guess in until the last day so I could get the widest range possible & still have a good shot for at least 10 points. I guess Namachieli had the same plan....his guess of $950 pushed me out of the top end of the range I figured.

Nice coin Nickelsearcher. I figured it was MS64 but I guessed a little too low. Nice shooting Apollo. I guess I will have to hone my GTP skills a little more for next season. Still haven't made it to the leader board yet.  |

Hey, I'm not that old! Would you make such an assumption if I had dropped in a reference to the allegory of the people in the cave by the Greek guy? I am just perfectly happy to use my grandparent's cultural references. If I wore a Van Dyke, it wouldn't be because I was old enough to have seen the Dick Van Dyke show!
