I was thinking of sending about 10 sets with each set being a 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c and 20c. That is a sugar glider, frill neck lizard, echidna, lyre bird and a platypus. I think they would go down well.

Hi this sounds like a great idea. We are new to the forum, it is my 10 year old son who collects. Where is the show going to be? Or should I just check it on the net? My 10 year old very much wants to go the the show and as we are flying into NY on the 7th August.... He collects just about anything but mostly UK decimals, and has just started on the US coins. We will bring some UK coins over for trade!

A huge thank you is due to Vermontensium who has provided a very generous contribution towards postage of some Aussie coins. I've started picking out the coins to send but was wondering about one thing is it better to send older coins (1970's) that arent quite as good or better to send newer 2009-2011 coins that have lustre and little circulation wear? I'm planning on sending over 100 Aussie coins with animals but final numbers will depend on weight in the end.

This is not a difficult trip from New York - it's a heavy-traffic regional train/bus route of about 125km.

I have alot of interesting foreign coins I could send from the USSR, China, Japan, Ireland, Germany, Isreal, Brazil, and others. Would you be interested in those? I would need an address, obviously.

Bobby, I referred BruceC back to you, so we can keep all this stuff in one place. Your basement's bigger than mine, anyway.
