finally got the mint's e-mail that they're in the mail. imagine, were in June. I ordered January 6th.

6 months just to get those quarters? That is ridiculous! I really don't understand what is going on at the Mint. Any Company that did business like that would risk losing future customers in a hurry.  |

FINALLY received mine today after 5-6 months.. Nice to see the mint take such care in packaging them too, one of the sets I received has a flipped quarter in it...

Mine were ordered December 22 and were shipped on March 5th. Must have gotten my order in just in time to catch the last production run preceding those being shipped now.
My oldest order I'm waiting for is the two loons - ordered May 22.

Two sets were ordered in January. One by me and one by a friend for me. I got the first set in February and got the set from my friend last week.
Taking a look at the two sets there was a difference between the two. The colour coins in the first set were well within the margins. The colour coins in the second set had a lot of over spray which look like it has been cleaned off with a solvent. The solvent residue is still visible around the coin.
Both my buddy and I believe that the mint ran out of the colour coins and that is why there was a delay in the shipping. Perhaps they had to go back and convert the regular coins into colour coins.
