Hi I was given about 20 Canadian Olympic Coins. I've looked online and haven't found much information. However I believe the same coin was being sold on ebay for 20.00. So I guess I was just wondering what this coin might be worth It has the maple leaf on the front along with the olympic logo and than the olympic event on the back. thanks, any help is appriceated

First of all,

Try the Coins and Canada catalogue book found in libraries. Get newer versions of them if possible.

Are you talking about the ones from the 1970s, or from around 2010?

Post a photo or scan.
They are not coins or tokens so will not be listed in a coin catalogue. There is no "Coins and Canada" catalogue I believe he meant Haxby & Willey's Coins of Canada, twice.

Sorry, I meant Coins of Canada. They do have commermorative coins listed. Or, if you want, there's a catalogue for all North American Coins (excluding Central America), but the information is not really accurate.

I was asking about the ebay price because DBM said that it wouldn't be in a coin catalogue because it's not a coin
