In 1922 the United states only produced three types of coins. The 1922 d cent (with it's D varieties) the 1922 Saint-Gaudens $20 made in Philadelphia and San Fransisco and then the Peace dollar extensively made at all three mints. There were over 84 million Peace dollars struck in 1922, almost as many dollars as in 1921 when we struck over 85 Million. 1922   1922 d   1922 s

1922: 1922-D: 1922-S:  < by popular demand > 1922 BU-llion: I bought most of these raw in a boxlot at an estate sale. It's my favorite way to hoard silver. Quote:"There were over 84 million Peace dollars struck in 1922" Any time you want them, APMEX has them.

Great coins all and perfect timing on the post. Just last week I decided to collect the set. I got a folder in the mail yesterday and a 1925 on the way, it should be here by Friday to add to the post.

 1922-D, the reverse is nothing to write home about but the obverse has some wonderful blue-green toning. Peace dollars with nice color can be tough to find
