Newly acquired trippy threepence Crack across date Crack at each end of ribbon Filled r with faint cracks Crack from emu head It's been knocked around a bit and the tail has been squished on the roo, and the kings head side has bugger all detail. But its something I didn't have so it's a nice addition to my collection.

Hmm, trippy threepence eh? Good description for the little fella. Any coin with that many errors has to be a real keeper. Nice one apple.

Congratulations nancyc, on becoming "lucky number 7" of the "2010 twist-top 50 cent coin club". Of course, we also have one very lucky member of this exclusive club on a hat-trick ! I think it is a wonderful gesture that a member of "Coin Community" presented you this special gift. Especially because you have contributed so much to the Coin Community forums . Squire

Thanks Squire. There's another member that I purchased a coin from a little while ago, and I paid and all that. Next thing he's asking if I'm nancyc from CCF and then he refunds my payment and gave me the coin for free, pretty much for the reason you spelled out. ...now how can I publicly acknowledge his kindness without totally blowing his cover.

Yes nancyc, that requires a delicate touch. But maybe a degree of "anonymity / mystique" is appealing also . Anyway, the action speaks for itself. Especially because this "twist-top" is not so common. Since finding "number 4", I have had no further luck in adding another to my collection. And I have been looking lots... Squire

Hi Nancy, They have not been easy to find, but when I found that one, I thought you would appreciate it. I am glad you like it - although I never had any doubts about that! Thank you for all your contributions on the forum.
