Some nice coins there trout, I really like that wedgetail eagle as well it looks awesome. Plus those incused a pretty cool, did you get them off ebay or from a dealer? Here are a couple more coins I got this week to go towards my set. 1911 1/2d   1911 3d   1911 Shilling   Cheers Bryan

I don't know what it is about the design of that 1911 penny but I really like them. They are a real simple design but I much rather them to the kangaroo

100 years old last year,
and most I have seen are in pretty good nick ..

Thanks Trout, yes I agree I love the pre-decimal coins as well most of them have a much better design than the decimal coins and they have a lot more character and history as well. juzzyb I like the design of these older pennies as well they just seem to have more character than the kangaroo design. Here are a couple more 1911 coins I won on the recent IAG auction. (not my photos they are from the site but as I can't take a decent photo I thought I would use these as they look the same in hand and I would not do them justice). Cheers Bryan 1d  6d  Cheers Bryan

No , I got these from one of my favorite sellers on ebay. "philcami" I bought 10 florins off Peter , They should arrive sometime next week. I will be away on a couple of jobs for 10-14 days so I wont be able to see them for a while  |
