Since the US coin version of this thread is so popular, I thought I would try and start one for Canadian coins.

Interesting coin SilverBug, I don't think I have seen one before. Is it silver, and the outer ring plated in gold?

the outer ring is 22kt gold, inner core is 10kt. I like this coin because it shows a sense of humor by reversing the color. mintage around 2800

I had a tough time photographing this one through the ICCS plastic. ICCS AU-58 with a somewhat weaker reverse strike.

Bought a Bumble Bee coin yesterday and plan to sell it off and make a few bucks so I can buy more of the coins I really want.

My macro lens hasn't arrived yet, so no pictures, but my most recent purchase arrived last night: Ungraded MS '64 and '66 fifty-cent pieces and a nice '67 dollar. I think the obverse of the '64 will become my avatar soon!

I know it's not a coin but a token but it's the only "Canadian" item I've picked up recently:
