glenzy1 => so Charlton catalogue only grades this nickel up to MS-63 ... does that mean that there are no known 1894 nickels with a grade higher than MS-63?

SteveX6, on the contrary, the 2012 I.C.C.S. Population Report states there are 7 graded higher! The stats for Mintstate 1894 nickels are as follows: >MS-60=21 >MS-62=9 >MS-63=11 >MS-64=6 >MS-65=1 p.s.: someday when I upgrade to that lonesome MS-65 grade, I'll send you my>MS-63 as a Christmas gift...........promise! yah, I wish!! ... anyway, it is an absolute pleasure watching you post your coins => you have an absolutely out-standing collection!! (there seem to be a few outliers that randomly have a coins as nice, or nicer than one of yours, but for the most-part => you really seem to have a very solid MS-purdy collection!!) => well done!! NOTE => I was tempted to write "that'll do pig ... that'll do" (but I know that you are a police officer, so that may have been taken the wrong way!!?) ahahaha => it's a total pleasure trading coin-comments with you, glenzy1!! (you rock!!)

A 1965 5 cents ICCS EF40 - Large Beads, Attached Jewel From the guy I bought it from - "According to the 2011 ICCS population report, only 4 examples of THIS coin are known to exist, this one is the 2nd highest graded known." Don't have a population report myself so can't confirm/deny this.

thats a nice 5cents KUH...list price of $1100 in EF-40. I think there must be more than 4 of the attached jewel, although there are 2 of the large beads variety, attached and lightly attached. Maybe there only ARE 4 of the fully attached jewel
