The Israeli pieces show the name of the country and the name of the currency on coins in all three languages. That is hardly a sideshow.

The fact that the Israeli pieces also show interesting designs whereas the Palestine mandate pieces had at best a hole does not detract from the fact that they are trilingual

Israeli and Palestinian Mandate coins take very different approaches, and each has its appeal. I like how straight forward and utilitarian the Palestinian coins are because it highlights all the languages, but other than that, there isn't much to look at. The Israeli coins have much more symbolism, which is nice.
