is this yours? awesome traevin! this is probably the most expensive 1oz silver out there. BTW, did you replace the capsule or it's the original?

Silverbug,

It's mine. I've had it since early 2010. As far as the case goes, I take most of my coins out and store them in Airtites but keep the original capsules, of course. Per their makers, the Airtite rings "supposedly" have antimicrobial properties that offer another wall of protection from anything capable of attacking or bonding with silver.

wow, I hope you didn't pay full price for that wolverine traevin!

Don't hate me for telling you this but the Gulo Gulo costs me $75, in a way. I actually paid $150 but the coin below came with it as a package deal and that one went for $260+ on ebay just last month. Overall, not a bad deal, aye?

@poboxw I stand corrected. Another beautiful bird, though, and a coin I'd pick up if the price was right.

@traevin: How can we not hate you?!

@poboxw: forget about your wife. imagine one side is wolverine+owl+hedgehog, the other side is 100oz bar, which side will your son crawl toward? which one will his future girlfriend pick up?

@traevin: Stop, please stop. At least lie and tell us you bought it for $2000 and a kidney.

@silverbug: my wife would pick up the 100oz bar, smack my head with it, sell the bars and coins, and take our some on a vacation. I'd then have to decide whether to crawl towards her feet or phone to dial 911

taparia,

AFAIK, they didn't make any in 2009-10. Silver wasn't selling for much during that time-frame so the mint probably didn't see much profit in it, I guess. Mongolia did make a couple of crystal coins pre-2007. One was a scorpion. Might have been a wolf, also, but I'm not sure about that.
