Maybe the mint mark moved to the obverse in this ultra rare variety. And that mint mark is too faint to be seen by the naked eye- need a microscope...

I sent a couple of questions to this seller - You can't find the D on the back? Then, how can you state with any degree of certainty that this is a 1916-D? I'll post his response if I get one.

I got a 1944 steel cent with beautiful copper toning for them, and there's a special on the Brooklyn Bridge they might want to check out too. Or how about this beautiful diamond ring, only I can't find the diamond! Oh, or how about a rare error stamp with the plane flying right side up instead of upside down?

Well, you will be happy to know that the dime has a new home. Right in the front of an unsearched wheat roll. Same coin, same seller!

That seller has no shame. Doubt anyone will pay too much for the roll though

Sorry, a little late on this one. But wicked funny.
The reason that I am not sane is because I cannot spell seine.
I can spell net though. Same thing, right ?
I also think that we need some basic grammar lessons in this country. How many "mistrakes" can you find in that listing ?
