Not trying to derail this thread, but are those coins actually worth keeping ? I have some similar and was just debating on whether to spend or keep. Thanks

Quote: are those coins actually worth keeping ? That depends on how you collect. Some of us enjoy the hunt in pocket change, others could not care less. I realize that they are not "collector" grade, but in 20 years when a kid is looking for some of this stuff, it will be nice to help them out at face value. That's the plan for my finds these days, as my circulation collection is pretty much full. Spend them or keep them. Your call.

Now you got me curious, are you going to spend them? No harm there, as another coiner may like finding it. If it makes it out of my pocket without being spent, then I keep it. If I need to use it at the check out, I do. There will be another come along soon enough.

Nice finds at the gas station Dora! Do they ever wonder why you buy gas every couple of days, less than a fiver at a time?

What gas station do you go to? (Is it in the Toronto area?) I've hardly seen half the stuff in circulation you always seem to find there.

Not sure if you would exactly call this a circulation find, but I went into a bank and asked for ten rolls of quarters and ended up with nine (all different) unopened shrink wrapped rolls of 1992 Provinces & Territories and a mint roll of 1993. Now where is that roll of 1991?!
I was happy as I only had circulated coins for those years so I can pick a best coin from each roll.
