This is why I search bank rolls hoping to find a coin just like this congrats bro send it in to be authenticated I can't wait any longer

I think without certification you wont get a lot, but with good pics and throw it on ebay and you never know.

I personally don't know why anyone would care what it is worth,especially if it doesn't directly effect them and prices can be found online, all finds are priceless , but I do understand everyone has a price they would sell anything. I say Congratulations mountainman2, I hope it is real!

Since it only took 15 minutes for the inevitable counterfeit warnings to start, I'll take a different approach...it's real, I'm thrilled for you, you can call it whatever you want, and thanks for sharing!

Who makes fake pennies to spend them as a penny?

Yeah for sure have it authenticated just for piece of mind but if his story is true you would think the chances are that it is legit, no?
