Maybe this question was answered...

So we have up to 10,000 of these sets made which apparently includes the "sold out" 50 cents titanic - or did I read this wrong?

My question is: where did they find 10,000 50 cents titanic coins if 15,000 of them were sold out? A total of 25,000 were minted?

I think we kind of figured out that the total mintage is 15,000. 10k are included in this set and 5k are individually packaged with a COA, where the serials run from 10,001 to 15,000.

I received mine today. It is SOOOO nice. The history with the postcards, stamps is beautiful. I like how it is like a book.

Someone is trying to sell a Mint catalogue at a starting bid of about 20 bucks on ebay. Here's the link, http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-50-Cen...em43b198c51a

If you want to buy it now, it'll cost you $39.95

Wow. I have to admit that I do save them but don't really believe they are worth anything.

I've got a whole bunch of back issues, anybody want to buy them for $ 20 each?
Heck, I'll even do a three for one trade. Three issues for one Silver maple. :)

"There are no wrinkles in the catalog, the shrink wrap creates that look. It is in perfect condition"

Yup, it's worth it.

Maybe someone didn't read the listing and thought they were going to get a coin with it as well.

In this age and time, you can sell anything with a good sales pitch.

I'm speechless

@Mrpiedfort: I thought when you mentioned it that it was going to be one of those heavy-cardstock-paper-and-over-sized annual catalogs that the mint sells for ~$50
