I know there are others out there. Eng and Archraz. How about our Italian representative Giano? or our Bulgarian friend t0rress. And we're still waiting on our resident experts Martin and Doug. What's everyone waiting on? Soup?

Quote: Thanks a lot for remembre me,really thanks How could I not. You have posted some of the nicest coins on the forum along with t0rress. We used to have a Serbian who regularly posted, but for the life of me I can't recall his name. I know there are more Brits out there and some other new guys to this forum like Augustus1 and konratax. Anyway, my point is I know there are others who have coins to show off. Who cares if you don't win? It's a game to show off your babies, and how often to find anyone else interested in them? No one I know other then you guys. So get them ugly and pretty babies out there.

Bring those coins on! I posted coins and didn't get a single vote for any of them. It's ok though, I'm having fun and enjoying the other coins being posted.

There are some awesome coins posted here..... .... Here are my two coins...... Now Masis posted a Severus Alexander, didn't know if that was ok... So I'm posting The Mother of Severus Alexander...If this is ok, if not go to my second coin.... Julia Mamaea..222- 235 AD. This would be a normally be a silver Denarius, but what we found, it might be a limes coin. A limes coin was struck on the outskirts of an Roman held area. Which if they didn't have the silver they would strike it in bronze.. 20mm x 3.75g....Very cool.... .. My second coin....... Septimus Severus 193 - 211 AD. Silver Denarius Laureate head right... Jupiter standing, holding thunderbolts and sceptre, Eagle at feet... Rome mint..... 19mm x 2.6g...

Quote: Any Severan, male or female, is allowed. She is a member of the Severan family, so is allowed. I actually thought about posting a Julia Domna or Plautilla, but decided my S. Severus' were slightly better. Good coins so far, but let's keep it going. So far we have 16 coins entered. Let's see if we can get that over 20.

Thanks jw, that looks correct. I'll look up one of those online and keep a photo on file along with this one. It's nice to know which one it was produced from.
In fact I may eventually get a silver one just to have both.
