Sure do. But it's give and take. If I go coin hunting, the wife gets to go antique hunting. Usually costs me more for antique junk than coins. The up side is, I get to look for more coins in the antique stores and malls while making her happy.

When we went to NYC last Summer I spent half of my time hitting every coin and pawn shop in the Jewelery District (the other half was being a tourist and visiting the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, etc.).

This year, we're going to Washington D.C. Anybody know if they have a jewelry district there?
Rest in Peace

Thrift shops, pawn shops, coin shops, outlets, craft fairs, and swap meets.

Vacation can get expensive.

The wife says no storage auctions while on vacation!

Gotta work on that.

I guess I dated myself on the original post

I now use a tablet and GPS to go on my little treasure hunts as I call them.

While I was in Branson, MO last weekend, there was a HUGE sign for a coin shop on the main drag and I would crane my neck everytime we passed it. Sadly I did not get to check the place out...sigh.

I am going on a trip this weekend, but the coin shops aren't near my destination. And coin shops generally keep normal business hours, so they will probably be closed by the time I am free each day.
