Hey mate, The show was great! I had a blast and ended up spending way too much money . I got a really beautiful 1942s florin in choice unc. Along with ef 1916 florin with some very subtle toning. Not to mention the above requests for the 1 dollar s mm coins. Funny story: I was sat down next a gentleman at a table and we started talking. Well the topic of online forums came up and he mentioned he posted here on CCF. Well it turns out I was talking to Sel! Talk about a small world. So it was great meeting you, Sel, and hopefully I will see you around!

That is excellent!! (meeting Sel in a chance encounter I mean)
Glad to hear you had a nice time.
I am thinking of wearing an "ozcoins" nametag tomorrow (maybe with "coincommunity" on it too), so if anyone sees me, come and say "hello"!
I should be there around 1pm.
Is anyone here planning on going tomorrow?

It's nice to know that we are all of kindred spirits, and can be immediately friendly, with a chance meeting, anywhere on the Planet!
Give you a warm fuzzy feeling, and a sense of 'Esprit De Corps'.
Talking about cars breaking down? The next day, I was at Shannons Eastern Creek, displaying my 30 year old Merc. There were about 2,000 or so other classic cars there as well, all on display. One very interesting car refused to start on front of our Mercedes display, a magnificent, showroom condition
1930, V16 OHV Cadillac open bodied tourer! All 2 1/2 tons of it!
Actually, I know this car quite well, and have spoken to the owner on a number of occasions. He eventually got it going after about a 1/2 hour.

O man ozcoins thats horrible. I hope its not too bad and that you managed to get your car started. Sorry I couldnt make it today, I had uni stuff that I had to take care of. And a V16!! What?! I can only imagine what that car would be like, let alone how much petrol would cost! Wow. Sounds like a great car show!

The car had to be towed home and has broken parts that need to be replaced. I will be able to fix it once I get the parts, so its not too bad.
