Just as an FYI for those purchasing coin holders for this set. There is no guarantee that there is only 6 coins to this series.

I know that the MInt only planned for 4 dinosaur fossil coins, but they decided to throw a 5th in there at the last second. A few people made custom cases for that series also.

I'm almost sure they will continue the series in one way or another, its just another easy automatic million 1oz silver coins sold.

Charlton Vol 2 lists the 2011 Wolf (1st of the series) as 'Bullion' finish; not Proof. Brilliant relief against parallel lined background. I think this is what is also called Reverse Proof.

"Brilliant relief against parallel lined background. I think this is what is also called Reverse Proof."

I believe that is just bullion finish, like any regular silver maple leaf release. All the bullion in the wildlife series so far only have bullion finish.

Reverse proof is very different. The field has some kind of frosting which make the relief stands out. An example is the 2012 silver maple leaf with titanic privy. The following video on youtube shows the coin:

The 2010 Piedfort Maple Leaf is another example:

@Mrpiedfort: I ordered one from CA, haven't received it yet. But PMH has a video showing the coin. I think it is the most beautiful one in the series so far.

Holy snap. $38.44/ounce at colonial acres. I wish these had released a couple months ago.
