You do sometimes find a really stupid person like this person who was stupid enough to rip themselves off by giving away $100 worth of coins for $20.

Of course in these circumstances I just assume that wade is lying since he didn't post the ebay link with it. This day and age nobody is stupid enough to sell silver coins without seeing if they really are silver. He is probably in all likelyhood just trying to get people's hopes up thinking that you can steal coins like that on ebay.

Jason13 That's not a very nice comment. Maybe he doesn't want to share who the seller is so he can snag another deal!
I received Approx 12 silver 50 cent pieces from my bank a few months ago dating back to 1943. Someone didn't have any use for them and turned them in. I paid face value for them. These things do happen.

i noticed you calling me a liar in another thread also, I was going to let it pass, but you are on strike 2 now.
I've had some very lucky finds in the last year. read my threads, you'll see I am firm believer in karma. I get what comes to me for a reason. based on your verbal garbage so will you.
and coin_chick is right. I didnt link the item because the seller is liquidating a large estate and has more coming over the next several weeks/monthes. personally I think the seller left a zero off the end of the buy-it-now price, or it was supposed to be the starting price of an auction.
either way, I paid and they shipped. deal with it, grow up, and show some class.

I guess I better not share my good luck stories, nothing like being guilty until proven innocent...

Great score!! Quote:Of course in these circumstances I just assume that wade is lying since he didn't post the ebay link with it. You seem to be a quite unpleasant fellow, based on what posts of yours I've seen.

A few more comments like that and perhaps the Mod dudes can suggest that new member jason13 take a 'vacation'. Nice score wade ... hoping your lead on the sale leads to additional coins. David

That was a near-collision. I almost unlocked him.
