Why would you think the next hint would be something red?

This code contest is offensive to color blind collectors!

Having said that...
Moe, The Marquis de Sade called. He wants his gear back.

I disagree. I think it embraces the occasional "blindness" that can be found in all of us.

(You guys will look back at this code and say "How did I not see this code's solution, especially since Moe gave me all these awesome hints?!!")

Note: Code Breaker Contest # 9 Clarifications for you all (after discussions with my many advisors (mostly imaginary!!):

1. The Blue Footed bird previously depicted should/maybe/possibly/more accurately be depicted as this:

Code-Breaker-Contest-#9!

2. 4 should/maybe/possibly/more accurately be depicted as this: 1

This would then make 5 into 4, 6 into 5, 7 into 6, etc.

(It's kind of a matter of debate and shouldn't affect the decoding and I'm not going to change the code now, but just to let you know...)

This is one of my advisors who gave me this good advice:

I got another phone call from the Marquis de Sade. Moe, he asked me to tell you
he is busy at the moment watching this game and taking notes.
You can hang on to the gear a bit longer.
Between you and me, I think he is impressed with your technique.

Does the left purple shoe and the booby standing on its left foot have a significance?

HDoes the fact that Ariel has red hair, a purple bikini top, a green tail, and swims in the blue ocean have any significance?
