Every Stop & Shop around here in Central NJ has a Coinstar which either takes 9% for cash in return *or* takes 0% if you take a gift card for Stop & Shop instead.
I have mentioned this before. This is the best way for me. The grocery store I use has the same thing, no fee if you redeem for a gift card. Two birds, one stone.

Lucky me, I work at a gas station. I'll take in my few poor little rolls of coin and swap 'em out for bills or whatever funny-money* we might have lying around in the drawer. I once dumped ten bucks' worth at work and nobody said a word. When you only get to search MAYBE one box a week, that's a huge dump.

*Foreigns, halves, dollar coins, silver certs, $2 bills.

That is definitely one thing I miss about working retail. We only had one register and I always volunteered to open and close it out every day. My manager knew what I was doing.

I'm from NJ and I'm mailing them to someone out of state. Hope that gets them out of my vault range lol.

My immediate family supports this person by sending them money or making purchases for them and since I have only been using the face value worth extra change as a savings plan I figured contribute to the family and be a little silly at the same time. Flat rate box is 15$s about but I can fit 200 to 300 dollars in rolled coin in there and they'll gladly take the free money. :D

I considered stop and shop but according to the coin star site the closest one that has a coin star is too far away for just dropping off coins and shopping. Though if your saying Steve every one of the stop and shops in your part of central NJ has them maybe the one by me does and its just not on the site. I'll have to look. My dad shops and stop and shop so I could turn in there and get gift cards, have him use the gift cards and send something extra to the person we're supporting.

I bought $30 in gas with 3 quarter rolls the other day. Another roll at the post office. A little hear and there keeps my load down with the occasional dump :)

I bought $50 in gas this week in quarters. Last week I used dime rolls for gas. Now that I know this place takes rolls with no qualms, it's a common dump place. Also, it's an indian reservation, so gas is 15 cents cheaper per gallon!

I have been dumping at various banks, even one's that I buy from because coins get bought so often I don't get my rolls back with how often I get to go to the banks for pick ups. (once a weekish)
