Got it at an auction site over seas....Scored many of my rare coins, such as a VF35 1909-O quarter, in Europe and their sites.

as with many older posts today, this one went to NGC...
didn't quite make up to VG10, but turned out a solid G8

I'm pleased, can't wait until I have them in hand...

That's a good result, unlike some of the grades NGC has belabored you about the head with in this round.

SD, what do you mean? Do you disagree with their grading?

I for one don't like the 1880-S toned Morgan graded as AT, and maybe the 1861-S dime and 1909-S lincoln wheat in the modern coin section was abit overgraded...

I guess you have the go by "you win some, you lose some"-mentality when sending coins in for grading...

Obviously missed the initial discussion on this coin ... I was going to say NGC VG08.

Very nice coin and congratulations on the key date pickup at a great price.

Awesome score!

My first key date coin was an AG 1916-S Walker that I got for Christmas.

WOW, nice purchase. I see your not in the USA. Might be why you got it so cheap. Here that one would go for at least double what you paid.
