Quote: I picked up a couple low grade Crowns. Nice pair! Quote: These sure get pricey as the grade go higher. Probably why I keep to the Ikes and even then I still avoid those conditional rarities.

Another lowball grade but a recent rarity addition to the ever growing list of penny varieties. This is the GoubyBP1898B Date type B 11 teeth 1-8 with 8 centered over a tooth and the different style 8 where they bisect at the center. Normally these do not align. R5 on the new rating would be R14-15 on the older freeman rating

Thats not a bad one Richard. There is also a wide date 11 Teeth with a normal 8 that is not in Gouby and Scarce in high grade.

I have only seen 1 of that type so it is possibly as rare as the known 11 teeth different 8 type? All good for us :)
