1) There is NOTHING that I can see that would cause a details on this coin. Solid MS62/3. VERY nice. Like Vermontesium, this is my favorite penny design.
2) Good Lord, 40 bucks through a dealer? Yet another example of why I will never use PCGS or NGC. ANACS and for just 5 dollars more I can get three done and dont have to go through a dealer. I HAD a membership with PCGS, but when I realized they were no better, and just as likely to be worse, than ANACS, I cancelled the membership and havent looked back. Regardless, that lovely needs to be graded soon IMO.
3) I get nervous whenever I send my coins in too. I dont know how often the crooks go to shows, but I know ANACS goes to a good number of them around the country. You can submit directly if they come close to you. If the others do that, that would be an option. Otherwise, just use mylar flips to send them in as specified. They dont want 2x2s with staples for obvious reasons. Put them in flips, then a padded envelope then in a flat rate envelope with insurance. Thats how I do it and have had no problems. *now furiously knocking on my desk*
4) That Morgan....for 50 bucks? THAT was a killer pick up. Beautiful lady she is.

yeah 40 bucks through a dealer the first time then my father sent out a coin a few months ago and same dealer charged 45. I figured doing the premium with ngc with shiping will basically be 30 dollars a coin and I am fine with that. I just went to anacs website, that is nice how they don't make you join a club. I bought that morgan though when silver was a lot lower. my dealer had a lot of graded morgans ms 62 was $32, 63 was $37 and 64 was $42. so paying $50 for it was a decent amount at the time. you are the second person to say they put the coins in a padded envelope. to you rubber band them all together in there as well?

What company did you send it in to? PCGS or NGC? Both are good and I like both
