Elbesaar Rest in Peace United States 699 Posts	Posted 03/03/2017 11:55 pm My YN Photographer paid me a visit last June - and his schedule is such - he really doesn't have a whole lot of free time - as he's trying to get into Med School. He's finished editing the balance of the coins I purchased between June, 2015 and June, 2016. Here are a few Quarters : Try and find an AU 58 of this date ! Elbesaar Rest in Peace United States 699 Posts	Posted 03/05/2017 12:04 am Continuing with my newps - and recent images: This one came with a story - I saw an S MM under the Eagle - very faint - looked like it was a mint made effacing - but it turned out to be a series of tiny scratches forming a perfect Serifed "S".... go figure... This was in my 1st collection - which I sold in 2011; I spotted it in another auction - and repurchased it. Trying all I could to locate an AU 58 - this came close... Its a tougher date than many realize: As I couldn't locate an AU 58 - I decided to stretch for this in 65 .... Hands down, the scarcest AU Barber quarter - other than the 1901-S - and this is the finest known [ by me ] in AU 58 Grade in PCGS. { I know the other two 58's at PCGS - I owned the very heavily toned one when it was an AU 55 with a Gold CAC. } Report this Post to the Staff
