Nice color on the rev of that '99, how much did it cost raw? And where do ya find such excellently toned raw coins?

Bought this coin raw last month [ or so...] and sent it to PCGS - where it came back in an AU 55 holder....

Last week, I sent it to CAC with a few others -
this crossed with a Green Bean.

This Nickel also is coming back to me with a Green Bean too:
Excellent!
Rest in Peace

Another Dansco 7130 hole filled! Not bad for $5, you can still see "TY" from LIBERTY.

I upgraded my 1900-S Dime in PCGS 55 with this
MS 63 - and it actually cost a lot less than the 55...

Of course, the 55 is much more attractively toned...

I guess it must be the colour, but I do like the 55 better. However, for the price I would not complain about this upgrade.

I think you are right. I was speculating that the photos were a little flat, hiding that 63's true beauty.

I just picked off a nice 1906-S Dime - even though I have this one - PCGS AU 58 CAC - OGH:

The-25-Days-Of-Barber-Coins!!

Make a long story short: I owned this coin a few years prior to selling it in 8/2011. I spotted it on Great Collections - and picked it up for a bit more than I sold it for.

Today, I spotted this AU 58 { NON CAC } and put in a low ball bid and won the coin....

.....well.... its mine now

Oh, yeah, the new one was $615 less than the OGH one !!
