thats the problem, I've just started collecting silver a little over a year now and have only the one walking liberty, and its my first, I've got about 12 quarters but my aunt gave me about 8 of them and dont feel comfortable getting rid of them even though she said I can do whatever I want with them,i told her I wasnt going to do that to her, the others I found at work.

it does take a long time to accumulate points on that Amazon card and I wouldnt mind in using that to invest in silver eventually

Amazon rewards definitely arent the friendliest but better than nothing for sure. Thats one of the reasons why I was thinking use them for the walking halfs that are much more reasonably priced and you can get them faster to eventually flip if you so choose

yeah, I had 20 dollars worth of points and got my walking liberty for 15 dollars on Amazon (free with my points) so free silver for me is a win in my book even if I had to spend money to get said points, but they are points I wouldnt have otherwise got using another credit card or cash

i just called the local coin shop and he said he had silver eagles for 38.50, what are some clues on the coin having been cleaned and dipped, or do I not have to worry about that coming from a coin shop

Free things are always better. 15 for the wl isn't bad in comparison to the Eagle premiums. 38.50 is most likely a bullion eagle so cleaning wouldnt matter, but its not really a big concern for that series anyway no matter the type of eagle. The big premiums are from the graded 70s and unless its graded you wont get that money and not being circulated they dont get covered in junk from wear

First that price is about $2 high, you can get eagles new in BU for $4 over delivered.

I bet I clear 500 bucks a year on ebay bucks, as I have 101 right now and a month to go yet until pay up on Jan 3rd....

Five hundred free dollars worth of pmz a year could be worse....

The one buy that hurts me on bay however ie my number one weakness, old pour rare silver bars, which yield zero ebay bucks....

A roll of Morgans for example however will yield ebay bucks, what a crock eh....

Mulder basically. They give you like 2 percent of what you buy back in ebay bucks and will run promotions every now and then like they did yesterday where you get significantly more than that for that day. Only downfall is it goes in 3 month cycles before you can use it, but its free money so cant really complain.

Baseball nailed it, 2% free money paid out in quarters four times a year....

Free money and it takes atleast three months to add up to any significnats on my average spending anyhow, so I don't mind a bit....

But as you can tell math wizards this kid don't play around on bay, I buy alot of product there to acumulate that many ebay bucks per year. Just another way I try and hedge against them and paypals cut, as I sell all that I buy IN THEORY at more then I put in it, again in theory, lol, as well as the items bought with the free money....

On a side note, seems like TBK was not aware of what they were, which makes me think they don't offer them in every State or country perhaps....

Country not sure about but they do for state. The odd part is they dont really advertise it that well and make you sign up for it instead of it just being automatic.

I dont'e recall signing up for them Baseball, but who knows I very well have and not realized it, as I have been getting them for a couple of years now....

Everyone is different how they use ebay for buy or sell. Some use it rarely when they clean out garage and attic and hit a few un-knowing homeruns. Others just sell and buy rarely (while others only buy only and hoard) I am sure on ebay....

And most of the big ebay sellers to aquire stock they actually take the time to get off their lazy backsides (unlike myself) and get out into the world and find BETTER deals (or wholesale on line companies perhaps, esp in bbullion eh)at Estate sales, back corner antique stores, garage sales and flea markets in the later part of the day on Sat or Sunday. As dealers have bills to cover and don't wanna take stock back home often and will come down a bit more, again towards end of day, esp at flea markets and such. Which can produce 90% coins or bullion under spot, it happens every weekend, etc....

I am sure ebay realizes who spends the most and offers the bucks perhaps according per individual and their personal spending habits....

They probably saw me coming a mile away and said we can hook this sucker for life and then some with 2% free money, lol....

Hook, line, and sinker....

thats cool, ill just stick with my Amazon card for now because I get 1, 2 and 3% cash back or Amazon credit depending where I use it

only time I got into ebay was when I had a bunch of stuff to sell before I went to new york for spending money, and it worked out great until I ran out of stuff to sell
