Why, hello there! I'm back after being away for a while. Anyway, I just was able to get to the bank today and picked up a roll, here's what I've found: 2 x 1979-D SBA1 x 1979-S SBA2 x 1999-P SBA10 x 2000-P Sacagawea 2 x 2000-D Sacagawea 3 x 2007-P Washington 3 x 2008-P Monroe 1 x 2011-P Hayes 1 x 2011-P Native American Hopefully I'll be able to do this more often. I'm going to hold on to the SBAs and the Native American for now, and spend the rest.

I searched through my first big batch of small dollars today. The lady at the bank that orders my halves forgot to order them this week so I picked up $900 worth of bank rolled dollars. I had the ultimate case of beginner's luck. 2002-S Sacagawea Proof 2003-S Sacagawea Proof 2008-S Martin Van Buren Proof 2010-S Lincoln Proof 2010-S Sacagawea Great Law of Peace Proof.
1981-S Susan B Anthony Proof. I really can't tell if it's Type I or Type II, but I'm going to assume that since I am not sure, it's probably Type I. (3) 1979-P Susan B Anthony Near Date
And, last but not least.. 2000-P Sacagawea Wounded Eagle in almost perfect condition.
My wife and kids couldn't figure out what I was screaming about when I found it.

My roll this time was a String & Sons (I think) machine wrapped roll of George Washington dollars. I already busted it open, stuffed them into my pocket, and spent 4 of them.

Went through my first attempt at dollars today. Went through the drive through and asked for rolls and they gave me an unopened Mint Wrapped Roll of Sacagawea 2000p! I also got solid unopened James Madison , James Monroe and John Quincy Adams rolls with their names printed on the roll. They also hooked me up with four rolls of solid 2009 D Sacagaweas and 6 CWRs, I went through and put together almost a complete current AU/MS-60 set and cherry picked the solid rolls for some dang nice coins. Had fun with it and plan on going after it again tomorrow. Gonna go back and see if they have other named solid rolls and get a decent set going. Other notables were 3 1979 SBAs, a 1980 SBA and a 1999 SBA. Curios as to why there was a huge gap in the years of SBAs? 81 all the way 99? What gives?

My bank is ordering me $500 in dollar coins. rking I think the 1999 SBA was meant to be a sort of special fare well to the SBA dollar coin as they started making Sacagaweas the next year.

So I'm original roll hunting and so far four local banks have not only been super helpful but they've turned up not only what I've already posted above...
- James Madison - D - James Monroe - D - John Quincy Adams - D - Sac 2000 - P - No wounded... darn - Sac 2009 - D
Today, I picked up
- Franklin Pierce - D - Martin Van Buren - D - William Henry Harrison - D
Also as a bonus note, two of those banks told me if I brought my list of what I had in they would rummage their stock and find names I don't have! Now, if I could just find a way to tell D/P rolls... hmmm... :)

Found these today, only the second time I've ever seen $40 rolls, and the other time was at a dealers' store. Appear to be original rolls of '79 SBA's. They go well with the two $25 rolls I've found over the past couple years. $200 is too much for me to tie up in SBA's, though, so I'll probably toss 4 of the rolls on the 'bay and keep one.
