Congrats on your purchase!

I don't believe this type was minted at Ticinum, but rather Cyzicus, RIC 116. I may be mistaken but I think the "T" in exergue stands for tertius or third officina. Hopefully wiser heads will confirm/reject this.

Indeed it is Cyzicus.

IMP FLORIANVS AVG - Right radiate, draped and curaised from front. (Fantastic detail around the shoulder clasp!)
CONCORDIA MILITVM - Victory, holding palm presenting wreath to Florian, who is holding a sceptre.

T in exerge for workshop 3, RIC V-1 Cyzicus 116. June/August 276AD.

This is Wildwinds example, slightly better detail but no silvering:

Thank you for attributing it for me Bobbyhelmet; much appreciated. I had to wait for the seller to combine postage with another coin so I only managed to pay for it this morning. I should however receive it either tomorrow or Saturday(fingers-crossed.). As soon as I get my hands on it I'll get some decent pictures up!

Look forward to seeing your pics - I've bought from this seller also, he only lives a couple of miles away from me.

Was your other coin as big a bargain?

Yes he sells some pretty decent stuff; I did bid on some of his other lots however I ended up saving my cash for the Florian at the end. In some ways I wish I went a little bit higher on some other of his lots(he had a nice Probus which went for £4) however I didn't want to spend anything more than £30(came to a total of just over £26). The other coin wasn't really anything special, it was a rough Domitian. I mainly bought it as a spur of the moment thing as I knew I would be able to combine postal costs with the Florian. It cost me £2.09 which I don't think was that bad:

I should receive the Titus half and the other silvers tomorrow, I will also update that thread when I receive them.

Very nice coin...and an even better first non- "uncleaned lot" coin. Kudos. Savor the feeling of holding it and running it through your fingers, this is a feeling completely unique to ancient coins.
