In line with the OP, here's a coin design I made that won me a contest a while back. :-)

You can probably pick out all of the traditional symbols that inspired it. :-)

How about a coin with an obverse of Tisquantum and a reverse with a stalk of corn with a fish on the roots. I'd also like to see one with the upper portion of the Declaration of Independence, with the "We The People" visible on the parchment, on the obverse, and on the reverse a musket or bayonetted rifle crossed with a feather pen above a broken chain with a flower or some kind of plant/tree sprouting. Denominations? Who knows?

Wow great coin Steve! I wouldn't mind have a coin like that, it's a cool modern day lady liberty look.
