I have been looking for 1 gram palladium bars but all of them are SO over priced. Anyone know where to find some good priced ones?

Myyyyyyy what happens in a couple of weeks huh. Palladium was looking very good to the upside... and now at the rate its falling, if it keeps going down, it will come into an area of price that could confirm selling it short.
This is why in market, we wait till we make a move. We never go ahead and put money to work until the market says so. Let the market confirm the move. How do we do that? With price action.
AT this stage, no reason to buy and until it hits the lower end in price and confirms it, no reason to sell it short yet.
Patience as always. by the way, for those who are interested in this metal but dont want to buy coins, or perhaps dabble with other ways to access the palladium markets and dont have access to a futures account or want to skip the futures market, I highly recommend PALL. I have no vested interested in PALL, I simply use it in my trading and it offers good liquidity, fair volume and easy turnaround.
Google it to learn more, I believe I might have mentioned it at the beginning of this thread.

One gram of any PM carries with it a very large percentage premium. Starts to make much more sense to buy in one ounce lots, if you can afford to do so; the %age premiums are much less.

I wanted to awaken this thread again...
These recent 2 days have been pretty constructive in terms of price action with palladium.
It still needs more work and time but out of silver, gold, platinum and palladium looks the best out of a very ugly look sector.
Ill have more later but keep an eye on palladium going forward for signs of life in this metal.

Palladium continues to impress in terms of price action, very constructive. It is coming into an important area.. whether it breaks it... we have to see how it acts and what the reaction is.
out of gold, silver, platinum,,,palladium is looking the best.

nice job of Palladium breaking out today, over 688 was the b/o...
remember there will be plenty of overhead supply in terms of price so do not be surprised by pull backs as sellers step in but this is normal and should be expected.
lets see how palladium handles itself going forward

Yup, I'm curious as to why the uptick on palladium if you know. Also, is it a good time to buy say 3-10 ounces on the next dip?

I have zero clue why its running higher and breaking out here. In most cases, assets start making their moves before there is a reason given or a "why". In time the real reasons come out but by then, the asset has already started its move.
From my perspective, I never am interested in the "why" or "how", I just know from price action and patterns that always repeat over and over that either someone is buying or selling at key points and then take it from there.
I also want to state that I always realize there is zero guarantee that this move will stick. Thats how markets are. Uncertainty is always there, for whatever reason.
Actually, for me, the trade here is buying on the break of 688 paired along with a stop should this not hold. SO how do break that down into the realm of physical buying?
I cant really say "yea buy it on the next dip" because to begin with, I never buy assets on dips, it just is not my style as a trader personally.
The other issue I have is, there is never any guarantee that even tho palladium has broken out today, there is nothing to say it rolls over next week and then we have a failed break out on our hands.
Which brings me to another point... if one tries to buy a dip from here, how much of a dip should be bought? what if one waits for a dip of say 30 dollars and yet palladium pulls back 50 - 100 dollars?
I guess it comes out to managing risk. If you want to buy the next dip, I say nibble on 1 oz first and see what happens, you can always buy on the way up if it starts to move higher and hold this break out.
As always in markets noting is 100% sure and I have no crystal ball. What I can see by price is one level has broken out today on the buy side. The next issue is does the break out in price to the upside hold and if it doesn't, how far will the pull back be,, which should be expected.
I hope that helps answer your question.

one final comment here for the week on the price action- impressive that 688 held as the break out and moved higher.
lets see if a pull back happens and if it does, how deep it goes.
best place in the sector is again, with palladium, until this move stalls.

Just gota ask!
What sort of turn over does platinum and palladium have compared to silver and also gold.
Like how big is the platinum and palladium market place?

Nice break out last week with follow through today. exactly what you want to see on a trade if you are buying palladium.
from here, how it closes today and what happens in the coming days tells who's in control.

Woah, palladium was up $9 an hour ago and now it's down $10 while the others are still holding. Wonder what that's all about

yes pretty typical pattern, should be expected.
it has a nice b/o, followed through this morning and now stalled.
we can see it now has retraced its move to the b/o of 688. Retracement of the b/o area, 688 in this case, is not uncommon and again pretty typical.
Now we should be looking to see how far it pulls back...
