According to Spink the design is a Sphinx, Chris Rudd has got quite a nice one for sale(6th one down):

I only paid £20 for it which I don't think is too bad. The Spink value gives it as £120-375 but I find they are always a bit on the pricey side. I have given it a little clean and it looks slightly better than the first picture. Would it be worth giving it a light coat of ren wax or should I just put it straight in the 2x2?
