I feel the same about the first coin in the duck series. When I saw it in the post office it was a "Meh" for me. I am a big fan of the fox as well though so maybe they just take two different tastes to enjoy lol I do regret not buying a duck sub though that morning they became available to the public. But hindsight is 20/20 :)

I see the silver Mallard single is now officially "sold out" on the Mint website. However, for the subscription they are still saying "awaiting stock". Kinda strange.

Maybe because Mint knows that some people is going to cancel their suscription after they sold the 1st coin with the box.

It`s not a suscription, it`s a single coin. He is making 100% profit.

It's a 100% profit so far whether it's a single coin or the sub box, they were the same price. The 2nd and 3rd coins will all have their own COAs too, it would be quite the accomplishment to obtain matching COAs for all three coins, especially if it's a noteworthy number like 1 or 10,000.

@ Arianzo COA = Certificate Of Authenticity, which is, as you probably know, the specs on the coin, including (but not limited to) what number out of the total coins minted it was.

@Silveroid. Thanks

He knows. But he's not a computer savvy guy. He said he does not even own a computer. :)
He said he will get headache when look on the computer screen for 5 minutes.

That's great.
He will enjoy the coins, and no cancellations from your side.

Yep.

But I don't plan to cancel my duck subs. Because when we got all 3 coins and display them in the box. The whole set will look very "Sweet" and earn some extra value for sure.
