I'm still scratching my head about this find... A 1909 Indian Head cent! The Liberty on the head band is really strong. Oh, can anyone give me any idea on if its been cleaned or not?

Several members of my coin club put older IHC & dateless Buffalo nickels into circulation to drum up interest in collecting. I think that's a really neat idea.

I always try to avoid looking in those and donation boxes as I go by in stores. It would be terrible to see a good coin looking up at you and know you couldn't have it.

Nice.

Did you get to keep it for 1¢?

Let's see who else can type that without cutting and pasting or Googling how to.
