Hello Forum members, I appreciate everyone’s passionate political viewpoints and think it is time to step in as we are now starting to make personal assumptions about what others mean or think. Longnine009, Thank you for your correction on my posting the rest of the song lyric. I thought perhaps the line would be easier to understand if I did that, my mistake and I apologize for that. I do not agree however about quotes having a lot missing. Many famous quotes are the impact part of a larger statement, becoming memorable for that reason. At any rate let's focus on trying to minimize the damage this scandal has done to our hobby and all having had a chance in this and other threads to espouse our political beliefs, lets end the personal stuff right here! My first offical post action under the title of Moderator. Sincerely, Mike So...did-Tom-Noe-Really-Do-Anything-Wrong?

I think that we all can agree that this investigation has from the beginning had "political" overtones. It would not have been as big if it didn't. However, that does NOT excuse the behaviour of those involved. "IF" laws were broken, the persons responsible should be punished.
I think that this whole episode has exposed the often overlooked darkside of the coin business.

ND you will have to find a new term to use as DARKSIDE is a very positive thing in the world today, especially among coin collectors! Guess you will have to use the terms "corrupt", "shady", "greedy", "political", "scandalous" or "wicked" as they all would fit the profile! Now repeat after me..."Darkside" is good! "Darksiders" are good! Now repeat this repeatedly until you can't repeat it repeatedly any longer! All the Darksiders out here have already forgiven you for the loose use of OUR word!

Sorry,

I wasn't thinking about the World coins, just the business of buying and selling coins.

Your apology is MORE than accepted! Actually we all are still getting used to that term for foreign collecting and it has spread all over the world very quickly. Kind of humerous was a small group of people can do with the help of the internet! Darkside has a whole new meaning!
