Cool Wade, maybe we can meet up and trade coins some time :-) When I'm a member for 90 days I'll post my coins! I always sell quality stuff for good prices. Do you specialize in any kind of coins?

I really only collect bi-metallics and coins with printing in Cyrillic...two fairly niche areas.

Used to collect anything, but had to set some limits. Thankfully, there's still quite a bit out there for my two groups.

A vending machine at the bus stop has a niggly return slot. The metal has a seam, so quarters slide along the back wall of the chamber, begin to tilt (it's rounded forward), then get stuck on the seam. It's deep, and extracting them is a bit of a challenge. I found a quarter caught on the seam today :D

that's good Iowa. I like to collect ancient Romans. I resell most of my coins though and buy new coins.

When I was a kid, my grandpa was always finding all kinds of coins... behind my ear! Funny, but I could never manage to turn up any there, no matter how hard I looked.

-Around Wal-mart or grocery store checkout line.
-Parking lots
-Change cup from snacks and coffee "honor system" payment cup at work; searching these has rewarded me with several wheat pennies and 30's & 40's Jefferson nickels.
Not coin related but I once found a $20 bill at separate times at a Wal-mart and our local shopping mall at Christmas season, the most money I have ever found.
