Nickel test tokens were struck in 1965. Nickel patterns were struck in 1967. Nickel circulation coins in 1968.

Actually,MaxL got it,the 1965 test tokens had twenty five tokens as the denomination rather than 25cents.I just wanted to bring attention to the '65 test tokens.So many different compositions and sizes.They can be seen on pages 270-271 of the latest Charlton's.I always have these in mind when I buy lottery tickets.
