Does a royal barge qualify as a ship?

I know this one has been posted before, but I just got this one and had to show it off. I love it!

One of my favourite designs with a sailing ship used to be the 10 West-German mark banknote (from the 1980's). I don't really know if banknotes with ships have their place here, nor if there are many like that. Therefore only a small picture: You find a nicer full-size one on this link: https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/...824691898802

1949 French Oceana 50 cent. I think this is one of the prettiest coins. The obverse comes with an outrigger canoe and a small sailboat.
