That seems about right, it was a nice bump over the PCGS AU details one. The real problem is just the type of buyers that can afford those coins. People that can afford to buy coins at that level like we buy far cheaper ones have the money for problem free examples for something that already has a small buying base to begin it.

Its one of those things that as soon as you buy it youll likely be underwater in it from day 1 so a significant discount for a details grade should be expected imo.

So I guess the next bet will be to see when it shows up raw on the bay and how much it will go for.

I have found that ebay is a bad venue for selling higher priced ($5,000+) coins. Those are generally coins best left to the big Heritage auctions. Having said that, I do believe centsles did get a fair market price on that coin.

Yeah I agree, one of the big auction houses would've been much better for this coin. Unless you have a very popular key date you won't get top dollar for your stuff on ebay.
